These leftover tracks from this year's excellent "The Weight of a Thousand Suns" don't feel like leftovers. These are highlights.
This EP has more intense riffage, and no quiet moments. Almost entirely black metal styled vocals instead of the core shouts frequently featured on Thousand Suns. The two tracks here are more punishing than most of their last album.
